A commitment stays open until you close it.

Commitments now keep a stable account of the person responsible, the promised deliverable, the due point, the source and whether the loop remains open.

When a later Gmail or Outlook message appears to fulfil that promise, SA‑NT can connect the evidence to the original commitment and surface a possible completion for review.

A matching email does not close the commitment. SA‑NT proposes the change, shows why it looks complete and waits for an explicit confirmation. Dismissing the suggestion leaves the original loop open.

That distinction protects the useful human meaning of done. A message saying work is ready, delayed or merely discussed should not silently rewrite a person's commitments.

This is available in the private pilot and still needs live reconciliation verification. It currently considers later inbound Gmail and Outlook messages, requires the sender and deliverable to match, and rejects negated or uncertain completion language.

When the evidence is weak, the loop stays open. The purpose is not to automate judgement away; it is to bring the right commitment back at the moment a person can settle it.
