Nothing silently disappears.

The private work view now uses six states: Queued, Working, Waiting, Completed, Failed and Needs you. The same labels are supplied to voice and to the brief rather than being translated separately on each surface.

Queued work is ready to start. Working has begun. Waiting depends on a time, person or external condition. Needs you cannot proceed without a decision. Completed and Failed are outcomes rather than disappearing rows.

A call, booking chain, podcast or overnight research item that exceeds its expected window is shown as Failed. The page names what happened and gives a concrete next step, such as retrying, choosing another route or dropping the work.

The next brief carries the first failure and that recovery move without waiting for the person to check a dashboard. Pending outward actions still wait for an explicit yes; a state label never widens authority.

This state language is available in the private pilot across the work page, voice responses and text briefs. Recent terminal outcomes remain visible for seven days, while source-specific records and receipts remain the operational truth.

Live recovery-flow verification is still required. The release makes stopped work visible and actionable; it does not claim that every retry will succeed.
