The design can be specific before the engineering is finished. It cannot pretend to be finished.

Two faces, one purpose

V4.2 gives the object a quiet public face and a serviceable private face. The front carries the light and touch language. The rear resolves access, identity and the structure needed to continue engineering the enclosure.

The package includes a sealed appearance body, separated manufacturing bodies, an exploded assembly and quote-ready prototype geometry.

Carry is part of the product

The collar and strap are no longer accessories drawn after the object. Their load path, magnetic release, connector protection and material choices are part of the system under study.

The current editorial set places the object at the ear, on a work table, in transit and at rest because those transitions reveal more than a floating render.

What remains open

V4.2 is design intent, not released manufacturing geometry. Battery, RF, antenna, acoustics, thermal performance, sealing, durability, safety and certification still require integrated evidence.

A conductive or true-metal backplate remains conditional on antenna simulation and comparative over-the-air measurement. Public imagery shows a direction; it does not turn that direction into a production claim.

The next proof

The next meaningful milestone is not another rendering. It is a powered, enclosed prototype whose radio, audio, camera, thermal and carrying behaviour can be measured together.
