The front is one constellation; the reverse is one personal body.

One edge, not three

V4.3 keeps the 130 × 21.5 × 13.5 mm envelope and fixes the silhouette at R8.2 plan corners with a 5.1 mm short-end flat. The personal face rolls into the wall at R3.5. Those dimensions give the object the taller, slimmer reading of the approved drawing while leaving a defensible end for USB-C.

The active face is now one matte constellation cover. It wraps over the inset neck of the personal cup, so the gasket and cup edge do not appear as a second border from the front. The reverse, ends and sidewalls are one personal body rather than a body plus an added plate.

Each face has one job

The constellation face carries the dense starlight field and the 86 × 3 mm disappearing line. The intended off state is one calm black surface: stars and strip appear as light from beneath, without an intentional visible outline. Required microphone and speaker openings remain on this face, but their exact relationship to the optical field awaits acoustic, ingress and durability coupons. The reverse carries only the small camera witness and restrained identity artwork. USB-C sits wholly in one short-end wall.

Raise-to-ear detection remains part of the engineering intent, but not as another hole. The current baseline places a concealed capacitive electrode under the constellation and corroborates it with motion. The camera is not used to decide whether the object is at the ear.

Motion alone will not mean consent to listen. The working contract first treats a lift as a silent candidate, then requires grip, orientation, sustained ear proximity, pocket rejection and an open privacy control to agree. Only then may the local acknowledgement, a short volatile pre-roll and an authenticated connection begin. Connection readiness still does not release microphone content: the person must speak while the qualified gesture remains present. Lowering or timeout discards the uncommitted pre-roll. These are design and EVT acceptance requirements, not claims of validated production performance.

Approved direction, unfinished hardware

The exact SVG and STEP studies now control new imagery, DFM discovery and electronics layout. A canonical flat constellation file fixes the approved appearance field, while acoustic open area remains an engineering release. Seven AI-generated personal-finish studies have been recalibrated against the R8.2 silhouette, with separate close studies for the cover return, dead-front constellation, rear camera, engraving and bottom USB-C wall. Current editorial studies now carry the same silhouette into rail, kitchen, touch and carry contexts; the depicted touch contract, attachment and load path remain illustrative. Current motion studies are derived from those controlled stills with reversible camera movement, so the product shape does not drift between frames. The polished-gold study now shows a mirror finish distinct from brushed brass. These are appearance references—not production photography, supplier samples or released variants. Glass is one personal finish option; the constellation is not assumed to be glass.

A controlled qualification plan now names the finish, engraving, RF, optical, acoustic, sensing, strap and packaging evidence required before those studies can become product claims. The first-reveal image has also been corrected to the V4.3 slender silhouette and fitted cavity, but it remains appearance intent: physical tray tooling waits for a signed contact map, tolerance stack and distribution evidence.

A bounded supplier release now allows two loose high-detail SLA appearance sets and a spare constellation cover to be quoted and printed from one checksum-controlled V4.3 package. That release is for size, silhouette, handling and appearance learning only. It does not authorize production tooling, integrated electronics or a production finish.

This approval is not released manufacturing geometry. Wall thickness, ribs, fastening, gasket compression, acoustic open area, antenna behavior, camera selection, connector load path, privacy control, ingress, drop and tolerance evidence remain open. The earlier V4.2 quote package is historical; a supplier should not manufacture V4.3 from it.
